The official lists, daily
The UK Sanctions List (FCDO), the EU's consolidated financial sanctions list, the UN Security Council Consolidated List and the Canadian Autonomous Sanctions List, 19,359 people, companies and ships, fetched every day. If a list can't be refreshed for two days, we stop answering rather than answer from old data.
Companies, with their people
Send a company's name or number and we find it at Companies House, then screen its directors and the persons with significant control, with their dates of birth. Directors disqualified under sanctions rules are flagged too.
Matching that knows names
Transliterations, word order, legal forms and patronymics handled: Lukashenka is Lukashenko, Rosneft PJSC is Rosneft. A birth year that doesn't fit clears the common names, so you aren't buried in false alarms.
An answer you can act on
Clear, review or match, for each name and for the whole check. When we can't be sure which company was meant, we say so and list the candidates rather than guess, so a portal can refer it.
Proof your record is whole
Every check is recorded, signed and locked for six years: who, against which version of each list, and what came back. Your checks are numbered, and each one's signature takes in the one before, so none can be removed or changed unseen. Each month you get a signed statement proving the whole record, nothing missing, for when an auditor or the regulator asks.
